I had to laugh when you left me a comment saying you were lonely over here!
What a great resourse site you have here! I am happy to say it is not something I need and sorry that anybody does. But I am glad that you have provided it to those that do need it!
Love the bag btw! Perfect for shopping in the “green.”
Love the bag – very cute! I only found out last year that my late Grama was a survivor. She was raped at 14 by a cousin and when she got married promised my Grampa never to tell anyone. He didn’t until she passed away. It makes me angry and so sorry all at once.
Anyway, thanks for the contest.
Awesome giveaway-I’ve been meaning to get some reusable bags to go a little greener.
Great bag!!! Thanks for the giveaway!
Cute bag and great prize!

Depends on what you would have had to survive for me to know if I actually was a survivor. I definately survived childhood – and for me that wasn’t easy.
please add my name to the list
What a great bag and what a great site. I can say that I survived a childhood that was a tad difficult.
Please add me to the drawing!
very nice bag!

Very cute bag!
Very cute bag, and an appropriate time – my family has been attempting to “green” our lives – thanks to the efforts of our newly adopted 16 year old daughter – who I recently found out IS a survivor. I’ll be sending her here soon.
What a cute bag! Please enter me in your contest, thank you!!
What a cool-looking bag!
Awesome bag! I, too, am a survivor of abuse by an ex-boyfriend. It wasn’t until years later that I realized that he had raped me, and I think it is GREAT to know that sites like this are out there! Even 10 years into marriage, it still affects how I view my sexuality.
Anyway, you didn’t ask for all that! LOL Thanks for visiting my giveaway, and I came to visit yours as requested…and I’ll be back!!
please enter me.
great website and great work you are doing. it’s tragic that there is a need.
happy earth day

Awesome giveaway! I’m trying to make the switch to my own bags while shopping. Actually, we just got an Ikea near us and they have those $.59 bags that can hold a small child! Thanks for participating!!
Rock on with your campaign to take down abusers! I salute you and all who are survivors. And that bag is sooo cute!
And if anyone wants to take a shot at my freebie, head to http://marilumann.blogspot.com !
Enter me. Yes my old band teacher from way back in the day survived it.
Unfortunately being a college professor I’m all to familiar with sexual assault. One in four women on college campuses will be victim of an assault or attempted assault! Amazing, isn’t it? In fact, I had a student this semester who was raped at a party. My greatest advice would be to surround yourself with good friends. She luckily had good friends there with her who convinced her to quickly go to the hospital and report it.
I survived the lose of my ma – 7 years Lymphoma. I survived the lose of my step-ma to pancreatic cancer, gave her 3 months, she pushed it to 1 year & 2 months.
Advise is: I have seen and i do it myself. I get into the car, swing my purse into the passenger seat, get my keys, Put my seatbelt on, THEN put my leg in or close the door. Or maybe I do all this BEFORE locking my door. I may be inside my car, but that does not mean I am safe from would be predators. So get in car, close door, LOCK door.
Lastly, keep car running if you stop at Bank ATM, you can drive away if someone tries to grab you. Just gas it. The quick lurch forward will give you a good chance of escaping.
Imagine what you would do IF… If you have a plan then when something likes it happens then you will be safer.
If nothing else take a community class on being safer.
READ THE OTHER BLOGS HERE. Good advise.
Thanx for the great giveaway.

I am not a survivor, know do I know any off-hand, but I think every woman should always take care to not EVER be alone after dark.
Cute tote!
I am not a survivor, but have friends who are. Thanks for brining awareness.
Hi, Thanks for sponsoring a very nice giveaway drawing. I feel blessed to say that I don’t know about anyone very close to me. I did one time live in another place and a neighbot woman that hadn’t lived there very long, came running over to my house one day. She seemed desperate. She wanted me to take her near the courthouse away from this man. I did what she asked. Thanks,Cindi
Thanks for giving away this beautiful bag. My mother in law is a survivor and it’s hard to have that in your family
This is a beautiful bag and a terrific idea for a blog. I survived an abusive first marriage and rape. Thankfully, a lot of healing has taken place and I am a much stronger woman now. Very different from the woman I was right after those two events happened.
Beautiful tote! monk5@charter.net
My German professor in college was a survivor of a violent attack. Ten years later, I still remember the day she broke character (it was a total immersion class) and explained the purple armband she wore. It made me really think about where I was, and what I was doing as a woman.
My sister is a survivor. She has turned her situation into a learning experience to gain strength from.
Thank you!
I am a survivor. Two of my friends are also.
I would love to win your bag. I am not a survivor, but I dated one. We just broke up because he couldn’t cope with the intimacy. Do you resources here for male survivors? I could help you add some, if you were interested.

Well, this is hard to post here but I will do it. I am a survivor…I’ve struggled with it a lot but I’ve come to accept that it was a part of my LIFE and I did nothing wrong to deserve it.
I now work with women who come from abused situations and provide them counseling and a temporary roof over their head. No one should call themselves a victim, but rather a survivor and a fighter.
*breathes again*
Great giveaway! I hope i’m the lucky winner!
